The Supreme Court on Friday declined an urgent hearing on a plea challenging the New Delhi Municipal Council's decision to shut Central Park in Connaught Place ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) proposed ‘Lehra do Tiranga’ protest, saying it hoped “better sense will prevail” among all concerned.
