Content Policy

Version 2026-10-10 · Effective Oct 10, 2026

This Content Policy explains what you can and cannot save or share on LinkJunky. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything you add: links, notes, code, collections, titles, descriptions, tags and profile details, including content you keep private. Laws differ between countries; you are responsible for following the laws that apply to you and to the people you share with.

1. Adult content (NSFW)

Adults may save legal adult content, with these rules:

  • Label it. Mark adult or sexually explicit items as NSFW. We also label links automatically when the page identifies itself as adult (for example, with the RTA label or an adult rating) or when the website is on a public list of adult sites. NSFW items are blurred until someone chooses to reveal them.
  • Keep it out of public-facing basics. Do not put sexually explicit material in your username, name, profile, or the titles and descriptions of public collections.
  • Respect local law. Some content that is legal in one country is illegal in another. We may restrict the visibility of adult content in some regions or for some audiences.

Never allowed, even when private and even if labelled NSFW:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any content that sexualises minors, including drawings, animation and AI-generated images. We have zero tolerance: we remove it, close the account and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other authorities, as the law requires.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, including "revenge porn", hidden-camera content and sexual deepfakes of real people.
  • Sexual content involving violence without consent, bestiality, incest presented as real, or exploitation and trafficking.

2. Illegal and dangerous content

Do not save or share:

  • content or links that promote, sell or facilitate illegal goods or services, including weapons, drugs and stolen data;
  • terrorist or violent extremist content that promotes, supports or glorifies violence;
  • credible threats of violence, or content that encourages self-harm or suicide (if you are struggling, please contact a local crisis line);
  • malware, phishing pages, scams, or links designed to steal credentials or money.

3. Respect for others

Do not use LinkJunky to:

  • harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
  • attack people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious disease;
  • publish someone's private information (such as home address, ID numbers or private contact details) without their consent;
  • impersonate a person or organisation in a misleading way.

4. Integrity of the Service

  • No spam: no bulk or repetitive content, misleading links, or fake engagement (likes, follows, saves).
  • No abuse of the API, automation rules or AI-assistant access beyond normal personal use and published limits.
  • No attempts to get around enforcement, for example with new accounts after a ban.

5. Intellectual property

Only share content you have the right to share. Saving a public link is fine; reposting someone else's copyrighted work in full usually is not. If you believe your rights are infringed, send a notice to [COPYRIGHT CONTACT EMAIL] with: your contact details, the work, the content on LinkJunky (its link), a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement that your notice is accurate, and your signature. We respond to valid notices under applicable laws, such as the US DMCA, the EU Digital Services Act and similar rules, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Reporting

Use Report on any item, collection or profile, or email [SAFETY CONTACT EMAIL]. For child safety concerns, also contact NCMEC (report.cybertip.org) or your local police. We review reports, may act on them, and tell the reporter the outcome where the law requires.

7. What we do

Depending on how serious the problem is, we may label content, limit who can see it, remove it, restrict features, suspend accounts, or close them permanently, and report illegal content to the authorities. Where the law requires it and it is safe, we will tell you what we did and why. You can appeal a decision by replying to our notice or emailing [SAFETY CONTACT EMAIL].
